Some of the projects our team members have worked on in the past include:

• Starting up, funding and running a range of social enterprises

• Research project for an international organisation on the state of social and creative enterprise in South Africa

• Research for the ILO to help set the social economy policy for the South African government

• Helping a National Trust in southern Africa develop a social enterprise model for revenue generation as well as an overall resource mobilisation strategy

• Helping a large public fund in Southern Africa develop a strategy to best support social enterprises in the country from an ecosystems level

• Evaluation of a large public fund for social enterprise for an EU based funder

• Research and strategy for funding startups in the circular economy space, culminating in funding guidelines and policies for a EU country representative in Africa

• Design and implementation of incubation and acceleration programmes for Impact Hub Joburg (our founder, Lana Lovasic, was a co-founder of Impact Hub Joburg) focused on SDG related theme areas and with heavy innovation components

• Facilitation and design of design thinking workshops / hackathons in various theme areas, including health and tech for impact

• Advising and coaching social enterprises on their overall strategy but focused mostly on business model, market assessment, marketing and general operations as well as business development and fundraising - in particular in emerging markets

• Supply chain/value chain and supplier and enterprise development strategy for a range of large multinational corporates 

• Research and strategy work in food and agricultural systems utilising hydroponics and aquaponics

• Running workshops, courses, and presentations on impact and development topics - including co-teaching an MBA level course on Social Enterprise and Impact Investing
